Take one kayak, add LED lights and film in slo-mo in the pitch dark. Stunning.
Brendan Wells and his brother, Todd, attached LED rope lights to themselves and their kayaks and filmed the results as they paddled down waterfalls in the pitch black. The resulting footage is spectacular.
The video was captured as the pair descended the rapids of the White Salmon River and Outlet Creek in Washington State. As BoingBoing notes, it’s more than a little reminiscent of Tron. It’s also somewhat reminiscent of Sweetgrass Productions footage of LED-lit skiers, shot by drone – which you can see here.
